  1. what a great post! i love that striking postcard design! i like to think of myself as having a green thumb...i have a balcony here in rome and have set up elaborate drip systems as well to conserve water and be extra green ;-)

Sadly, I don't have much of a green thumb. I try, but usually only have "ok" results with what I plant.

  3. Perfect! Happy Earth Day to you! I do my bit by recycling (I passed that on to my students. They saw it in action especially with our math manipulatives.), use cloth napkins at meals, rags for clean-up, donate items I no longer use or wear to our St. Vincent de Paul shop.

  4. I love gardening but I'm not at all sure that I have a green thumb or, as we say in the UK, green fingers. I think my gardening takes the form of pottering rather than working.

    Funny! :)

Read what Rule of thumb means...awful,eh?

  6. Sweet card and story!

  7. Happy Earth Day to you too! Unfortunately, I don't have a green thumb in terms of gardening, I'd say,I have a black thumb because I can't even make a water plant grow, lol!

Fun card for Earth Day. I try to have a green thumb, but sometimes my ideas and Mother Natures don't quite correspond! Happy PFF!

I just want to remind all that live here in the U. S. that there is a new series of GREEN stamps that were just issued, all picturing things which we can do to promote (and preserve) our environment. Nice card! Have a very Blessed Easter.

My thumb is green - but I don't garden like I used to. Always has been a joy in my life to get out and dig in the dirt and plant little green plants to grow into gorgeous flowers! As I have gotten older, it's container gardening. Works for me now.
