10 Responses to Sunday Stamps 007: Cartoons or children’s art on stamps

  1. Postcardy says:

    The sleeping leopard is adorable!

  2. viridian says:

I agree the sleeping leopard is cute but wait until he opens his mouth! The US post office also issued postcards with the simpsons on them. Domestic postage (32 cents) was already printed on them.

  3. I didn't know about Archie but the Simpsons get everywhere. I wonder what the children's game in Malaysia was.

  4. Marcie says:

    I love the leopard, too.

  5. Sreisaat says:

Bob, it's a simple game. Maybe the translation I used is not correct - but the idea is there. Little kids ride on a palm branch and is pulled by another (bigger) kid. I'm not from Malaysia, but I played this when I was little. The Archie comics, on the other hand, chronicles the adventures of American teenage life.

  6. Sreisaat says:

Postcardy, Viridian, Marcie: I wish the leopard is like that... tame. My sister worked in Kenya and has seen one in person. I so envy her. Now I wish I had all Big 5 animals on stamps in my collection.

  7. Joy says:

I love the sleeping leopard, what a nice set of stamps. It always amazes me that the Simpsons keep coming up with so many different stories, so funny. Nice stamps.
I had trouble with internet yesterday as well, unfortunately no coffee shops nearby:-( Your comment made me grateful smoking is not allowed in indoor public places here.

  8. cheerful says:

  9. Dorincard says:

    Nice selection!

  10. Sreisaat says:

Dorin, generation gap is showing! *lol*
Joy, I wish we could implement a no-smoking policy in public places here.
    Cheerful, thanks.
